Recent Environmental Projects
Salinas and Farķas & Associates, Inc. (SF&A) was retained by the US Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to provide a 2,000 gallon ethanol tank at the San Francisco VA Hospital. This ethanol fueling station is the first in San Francisco County and the first in the VA's system west of the Mississippi River. It is the third constructed in Northern California.
Salinas and Farķas & Associates, Inc. (SF&A) was retained by the US Department of Veterans Affairs to remove and replace several aged skylights in Building 334 of the Menlo Park VA Hospital.
This project received a great deal of scrutiny from the end users, as previous repairs to the VA Hospital around the pool had forced the pool to be closed and drained during construction. The pool users considered closing and draining the pool, with its long downtime, to be unacceptable.
